Subpanel help?

Hey guys you have been more then helpful I think Im going to do what you said WoodWorkerDave and have the 240v line put in. Hey one question I have, I went to Home Depot today and they have single and double pole breakers. Whats the difference between the two?

You need the double pole breaker for 240 volts. A single pole breaker is for 120 volts. Are you doing the work yourself or hiring an electrician?
