sub panel metal studs

I want to install a sub panel in my garage, my house has metal wall studs. Is there any concern with installing the sub panel between two studs?

You may want to add some wood studs to provide a more secure anchoring surface.

Electrically there would be no problem.

Usually wood 1x4 are screwed to the stud, and 2x4 are used as firestops and to keep the metal studs from flexing.

If your wanting to put the panel in the wall between the living space of the house and the garage your going to be in trouble meeting firestop codes. Don't put it there.
