Remote viewing is not used by the intelligence agencies around the world. You choose to believe that they do to justify psi. If there was anything to that fairytale it would be instant pulitzer prize material. Almost as great as proving there really is an afterlife. As for remote viewing if you read a good source such as the material available through the freedom of information act you will discover that the cia wasted millions of taxpayers dollars looking at remote viewing. They came to no conclusion for or against it. Please don't tell me it's all a conspiracy to keep the planet from knowing that this psi lives among us. I sincerely hope you are not one of those that just can't seem to function because of headaches coming from the gods that be and expects the rest of the hard working people to carry you through life. I suspect you came here to get or soak up attention or find somebody that wanted to talk BS with you. You may need a cage but it sure as heck isn't one called a faraday. Speedy nailed it that those of us here are not going to bite on such nonsense. If I didn't have an open mind as you mentioned earlier , I might actually listen seriously to what you have to say. But my lifes experiences from having an open mind tells me to go the other way when I see something that is out right nonsense. You don't suffer from "something in the wires". Your problem is either medical or physcological period or your looking for a free lunch at others expense. I will not make any more responses to this thread, my last comment is.... I hope you didn't stuff too much foil in your receptacles or those lights you see at night may be something to the tune of the local fire department.

Elias, have you tried a gaussmeter? I'm wondering if you are sensitive to EMF. Very well could have some improper wiring, and my understanding is that some people can feel the EMF.

I just watched that the other night... and had a conversation on another forum about lead foil. Yes, they got it from Germany. It would be pretty difficult for the average person to obtain it, both due to the price of the material and the price of the shipping. If someone REALLY wanted it, they could get it. It the feds were on their way to your house though, you are probably out of luck. Sounds like this guy is already doomed as the feds are hot on his trail.

And I can only imagine how sneaky that had to be to change his service to 4,000AMP 440Volt DC when he wasn't paying attention!

Up until recently I used to do remote viewing a lot. But the kids used the remote and didn't put it back on the table next to my recliner. Now I can't find it!!!

ellias,

there are people who are hyper sensitive to magnetic fields, however it is extremely rare, and as others have pointed out you may be jumping to conclusions. However, you can check for magnetic fields in your home with a gauss meter. I strongly recommend a very inexpensive book -
Tracing EMF’s in building wiring by Karl Riley - ( $28.00 at lessemf.com)
which describes in detail how to locate wiring problems in your home using a relatively inexpensive tool (gaussmeter). If you feel that current is flowing through your home you can check for the field that is produced by the electricity using the gaussmeter. Alternatively, you could get yourself a clamp on ammeter to check plumbing pipes which may be carrying the current from your neighbor's house through your house to the utility. here are a few links which may be of interest. As others have pointed out, paranoia can often be a system of something more serious - it is often a precursor and/or symptom of schizophrenia, and if it gets worse you should try to at least obtain a diagnosis while you are cognizant, since at later stages of the disease (if you have it) that is not an option. at any rate, good luck, and good reading.

What is magnetism? In 2 words, "Magnetic Flux". This cannot be created in cables unless a current is passing through the cables. For example, zero magnetic flux will be produced within a cable that does not have current flowing through it, ie there is no "load" on the cable. The perfect example would be a power outlet with nothing connected to it.

If a voltage is present on a cable, EMR (Electromagnetic Radiation) will be produced but this is proportional to the size of the voltage & its frequency. Generally speaking, a human will not detect any EMR unless it is Very High Frequency (VHF) & at a high power (>5kW of RF power). Voltage in this case, has little to do with the produced EMR due to the high frequency. Notwithstanding this & having been a radio technician in the R.A.A.F, I have witnessed the radiation burns on human as a result of 30 Watts of RF power at 3.5 Megacycles. Mind you, the individual who was burned, was actually resting his metallic framed spectacles on the active antenna. Why did he do this? He had the strange idea that a slight bend in the antenna was affecting the VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) & he forgot that he had left the radio in "transmit" mode (fool).

Further, I would not think it uncommon to find high level magnetic fields in high density suburbia. Nonetheless, I don't think that by doing a course in any kind of "spiritualism" would suddenly "activate" acute magnetic perception in humans.

BTW, is it permitted to discuss "spiritualism" within this DIY forum? If so, I would be happy to engage elias in such a discussion.

they actually dont have to be that sneaky because im gone for 9 hours a day. 440volt dc? very interesting. what type of material would i use to encase this? lead foil? i used regular aluminum foil and its made a little difference. i have been shutting off certain breakers and that works but what else could i do?

You need to think about moving to the desert, build your own home, go solar and use low voltage lighting and appliances.

The only other way to reduce EMF is to go without electricity altogether and quite literally live in a cave.

Although I've only been a member of this site for a few days, I'm afraid this is all my fault.

1. I work for the government

2. My cordless extension cord appears to have some flaws.
