Square D Homelite Main Panel - Ground / Neutral Bonding

This is a 200 amp main panel which will feed a 200 amp sub panel back to back. From the way things look on this panel it looks to be bonded already. No green bonding screw to be found inside. See attached pictures. It looks like the neutral coming in from the power company ties into a bar and then there is a place for my ground and neutral to tie in the top left part of the panel on my side (two lugs with one being bigger than the smaller one). I believe at this point it is bonded with the panel. Its a clean way to do it if my thinking is correct or maybe im wrong.......thats why im here asking questions.! Help!

P.S. The current Main panel is out in the yard on a small telephone pole so im shifting it over beside the house (Back to back with inside subpanel) and going from aerial to underground service.

Your correct. What you have is called combination metering equipment and is rated 'service equipment only'. In other words neutral and ground will be permanently bonded since this will be the location of the main disconnecting means and utility meter in one enclosure.

Your going to be feeding your other panel via the feed thru lugs shown at the bottom of the panel busses and will be utilizing a 4 wire H-H-N-Grd feeder with neutral and ground separated at the panel after the service equipment panel.

No bonding screw is needed, as others have pointed out the neutral is permanently bonded. Also:

1) The inside cover that separates the utility wires from the rest of the enclosure is not in the proper position.

2) The load lugs of the meter socket are missing. Where did you buy this from?

You are missing PVC bushings on your terminal adapters as well....

Im going with required. :) Also, if you read 352.46, Im still going with required even with wire size #4 or smaller.

Since the sub panel is so close does a seperate ground need to feed it? It currently has one running to it but im wondering if that is needed anymore since im grounding the main service panel and its pretty much back to back with
