Spray foam and ground wire.

So i am going to have spray foam installed in my basement. One of the ground wires for my main service panel will end up partialy coverd by the spray foam. the grounding wire was previously inspected when the main service panel was updated. can the spray foam be installed over the ground wire?

Yes, but the connection to the water pipe must be accessible.

Some spray foams I've seen can't be in contact with bare copper for some reason. Your hiring the job out to the professionals so they will likely already know all that and plan accordingly. I highly doubt they use a product like that but just tossing it out there.

I'm here to learn too, i do mostly commercial/industrial/new construction and this place is a great way to pick up tips on residential from some good electrical minds. Excuse the spelling, my phone has a mind of it's own.
