Split circuit wiring

Can you confirm that split circuits in a kitchen have a single circuit dedicated solely to each individual outlet, and t shared with any other outlet in the kitchen?

Thank you.

Split circuit wiring

Split wired 15 amp circuits in a Canadian kitchen have two circuits connected to one receptacle. The tab is cut off on the hot(gold) side of the receptacle.
If a multi wire branch circuit (split circuit) is wired with 20 amp then you can use one circuit for each T slot duplex receptacle.
Do not PM with questions that can be asked in a forum. I will not respond.
