SPD in Distribution

hello

can anyone take a look at the attached setup and advice if it was correctly connected?

also, why is there no cable at the PE point on the SPD?

Read the manufacturer's instructions as they will only warranty if it meets their approved methods.

Generally surge protection is in parallel to load.

The PE terminal is for monitoring purposes. Think industrial setting with manufacturing. They want to shut down equipment if anything goes wrong.

As per the manufacturers spec sheet, it IS wired in parallel to the load.
They show it off of the load center on its own breaker.

This is the same as I have wired many up.

Just wanted you to be confident that you were getting the right answers.
