Spare cable inside conduit...allowed?

Hello

Due to a modification in my home, I had to do some rewiring inside my house, (1/2 in emt conduit, inside concrete running #12 thhn cable ) I had to divide a circuit (kitchen, receptacles) and I added a 20 amps breaker. The matter is that on 4 outlets I added a green cable for ground, that probably was not needed because the emt conduit, but since I had such a hard time passing the wires trough the conduit I wired an additional white wire which is properly labeled as spare. In other words, on a section of the conduit I ran 6 #12 thhn wires and 4 of them go to 2 separate 20 amps breakers, one is ground and the after mentioned spare. This additional cable has wire nuts, and is well protected with black tape. Can I leave this connection as it is, or am I doing something wrong or code prohibited?

Thanks
