Question

somewhat urgent question

i have a reason to believe that the wire connecting my thermostat and furnace is fried or broken or something along those lines. since i am at work right now and will be getting home after stores close and therefore need to go buy it on the way, can anybody give me a guess (i repeat, a guess) what gauge that wire may be ? my guess is 16 but would like some more guesses.

thanks,

- a
