Solar battery charger

Greetings,

My first post here. I am not an electrician, but I wired completely an attached garage up to the box. It is easy stuff just following the code.

I apologize in advance if I am overstepping any bounds.

I want to make an electric project and I am breaking my teeths on it mainly because I always have been a bad student for the electrical physics classes (Computer Engineer here) and I still wonder how I passed those classes...

Anyway, I would appreciate some help on a simple project. I think that maybe soime of you already have such setup close to it or maybe interest into it. My questions are pretty simple too and I can't find an answer.

a) My first goal is to make a solar battery charger that I can charge those 12v spots .300mA. Right now, I plug the transformer into the electric 110v and the end into the spot. I would like to "cut" the transformer and plus the wire into the solar panel system and charge the spot.

b) My second goal is to be able to charge a 6v lantern battery

c) My third goal is to add a few more pannels to this setting to have more charging power. (http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...2592_200402592)

d) And it would be nice if I could also charge AA, AAA, C and D batteries

I am planning to buy this kit:

Let's begin slowly and just see about goal A. Is it possible with this setup? If so, how would you do it?

Thank you
