Question

small solar disconnect switches

If you have a small charge controller with an integrated disconnect swithc would you still need another disconnect? Where would you install this - on which wire (pos v neg) and in between which appliances? Why is this necessary?

Thanks!

The following gives some code references and explanations...

Other than that, I would suggest asking your local electrical inspector what is required.
