simple questions

hello, guys.

i am putting new 14-3 from a new wall box up to a new ceiling fan/light.
2 dimmer switches = 1 fan, 1 light.

wiring them. i think i just connect the black to 1 switch, the red to the other switch. and the white is split to both. is this correct ?

also. cerrowire . when connecting 2 grounds in a box, with or without an outlet. the outlet screw seems to be only large enough for 1 wire. is it ok to just twist the grounds together ? if not, how do i connect them ?

thanx

Your 3 wire should be black to one switch, red to the other, white to the neutral of the power feed. The hot of the power feed should be pig tailed to both switches.

You should pig tail the ground as well. Do not put more than one ground under the screw on the device.
