I tried to replace the receptacle outlet without turn off the breaker (bad idea). The cutter accidently touch the ground while I try to cut the hot wire. At the moment they touched, there is a loud popping sound from the outlet. I reset every breaker (because the panel is poorly label) but there is still no power for that outlet. Any one know what might cause no power from the outlet with the stupid mistake I made?
Thats how I find the breaker. :whistling2: I cant be bothered looking around the box for the right one. I just touch the black and white together until it trips and I hear the "pop". Im a hack though :jester: :whistling2:
