Security Light install on metal outbuilding

I want to replace the dusk to dawn lights on each end of my garage with motion activated security lights.
The security light I have is intended to mount on a standard electrical box.
The problem is that the metal siding is corrugated so the light won't sit flush. and I don't have a electrical box on the building to mount the light to. I don't want to cut a hole in the metal to mount one flush.

How can I mount the light without too much trouble?

Here is a pic of the garage to show kinda what I'm dealing with.

Can you surface mount a weather proof octagon box and attach the light to that?

Yeah,probably..
Can you find me one like I need on Lowes website or something or atleast a pic of one so i know what to look for when i go there. I Can't find one there anywhere on there.
Where I would need to mount a box is right on one of the humps of the Siding. I guess I'd have to make a shim so the box will sit flat.
Bare with me.. I Know what I need to do just not how to do it. ;)

Edit:
Is this what I need?

That's it.

Most motion detector lights mount perfectly on that 4/0 box. Check the canopy on yours to see that it's round.

Ground the box and make sure the cable comes thru the siding in such a way that it doesn't get damaged on the sharp edges. A simple 2 screw cable connector in the back of the box should do the trick.

If the hump is smaller than 3", the box won't want to sit right.

You can move it over if it will fit in the dip or you can install a single gang weather proof box and a 3 hub cover. You will have to disassemble your motion detector components and install them on the 3 hub cover.

A single gang box is appx 2" x 4"

Where the box will sit is no more than a inch wide and i'd perfer to mount it centered on the building. What is a 3 hub cover?
