Scrap value of F-Can ballasts

Do F-Can ballasts (No PCBs) have any scrap value? I just replaced 4 Advance 72C8185-NP ballasts for HPS fixtures. They weigh approx. 14 lbs. each and are about the size the old Lionel train "O" gauge engine. Should have some good sized copper windings internally.

Regards,
Mike

Scrap value of F-Can ballasts

We scrap our ballast.
Price for scrap here is about $11.50 a 100 lbs.
