Running speaker wire parallel to electrical wire


Is this ok to do? Will it cause any interferance with my audio out put?

Yes and Yes

Its OK to do in terms of being safe, its not OK as far as sound quality goes. Run wires as far away as possible and cross elec wires, if you must, at 90degrees.

Running speaker wire parallel to electrical wire


I Thought that this was only the case for coaxle cable paralle to the electrical wiring. What is the worst that will happen if I do this?
