Running electrical

ran new wiring in our garage, went from one overlead light to two and outlet, relocated the wall switch also. When we flick the switch, first light comes on, and outlet works- get maybe half power , but notthing to the second light. , got any suggestions?

You need to reword this. "went from one overlead light to two and outlet, relocated the wall switch also."

Is this garage detached from the home or not? For what purposes are you wiring the garage, anything other than lighting and small handtool uses?

More questions than answers Im afraid. You need to provide more info as sirsparksalot requested. How did you run the wire from house to garage if it is detached? Regarding the plugs are they used or new ones, if old they can possibly been used a a split recepticle. Are the plugs on the switch as well ??

More precise info and we can help you alot more
