Run wire from Generator to play area

I am looking to set up a country play area and need a bit of advice. I would like to bury 12-2 indoor house wire inside schedule 40 PVC for a distance of 200'.
I would set up a receptacle on one end and plug my generator on the other end. This would allow me to place the generator far enough away for noise not to be an issue and still have power for five to ten 60 watt lights, radio, and some string lights (about 2 amps worth).
The wire and pvc are stuff I have from some demo and auction purchases so i have minimal amount invested in this set up.

The Generator is 3000 watts.

does this sound like it would work or am I nuts.
Thanks
john

Romex (indoor house wire) is not rated to be in wet locations. Buried pipe is considered a wet location. So, that part of your plan would fail.

As noted, indoor house wire cannot be used outdoors for any reason.

You can use type THWN in the conduit, or even type UF cable, but not type NM.

Also, I would use a GFI receptacle at the playground.

Sounds like I need to get some other wire and save what I have for another project.
By the way congrats on what looks like a big Walker win.

I'm not going to say anything until 90% of the results are in.
