run romex in 2" pvc

whats the code on running 14/2 romex thru a 8 foot piece of 2"pvc? i have an old unused metal chase, dont want to snake romex by itself for chance of any nails, so i put it in the pvc. would be a pain to splice in metal bx cable. doing some work upstairs and its the easiest way to basement. thanks for advice

That's fine. Conduit can't be filled over 40%.
