From my other thread I posted, I am roughing in two new bathrooms and need to run a few new circuits.
This is a 1 story ranch, panel in the basement. All original wiring is run from the basement to the attic, then down to the fixtures. The basement is completely unfinished with easy access.
Is there any reason I should pull my new circuits through the attic where its already 90+ degrees and hard to work in w/ low pitch roof? I think fishing new holes from the basement wouldnt be too hard at all. The only reason I can think of working in the attic is that all other wiring is in the attic already....
I recently had the same situation on in reverse. Some of my wiring was run through my crawlspace and most of it was run through the attic. I didn't want to be crawling around in the crawl space, so I too chose the easier route and I'm sure my back and knees thanked me!
