i am intalling a blower to circulate air from the first floor to the second floor of my house. the blower is a 120v, 180w, 3 amp blower. inline will be a line voltage thermostat and then a variable frequency drive for motor speed contrrol. the blower will be located in an unfinished attic the thermostat and vfd will be located in a wall in the first floor. i will be running 14/2 romex for the circuit. i have a 15 amp receptacle in the attic. i would like to simply add a male plug to the end of the romex and plug it into the receptacle for ease of future maintenance and ease of connection. my question is would i run into any code issues w/ this application of the plug and romex as i will end up w/ an inspector onsite for the electircal inspection. thanks. drew.
