Rewiring 65watt unballasted CFL

It would be a bad idea to make any mods to those lamps, the idea is about equal to useing a match to see how much fuel is in the gas can. You have what seems to be a replacement lamp for " Dusk to Dawn" mercury vapor yard / pole light and would be very unsafe to modify something like that for somthing it was not intended to do. Your safest thing to do is eat them and buy the correct lamp.

The reviews said the same thing as you. Maybe you wrote one of them. I whole heartedly agree as well. That ad is extremely misleading.

NO! There is NO way to "re-wire" that lamp. Period.

Maybe Amazon will be cooperative considering the situation?

Answers based on the 2008 & 2011 NEC. If you're on the '14 already I feel sorry for you.
