replce a high cealing light bulb

I am trying to avoid hauling a very tall and heavy ladder home to change a high cealing Light bulb over a stair way.
I have seen some extention poles for the purpose on the net ranging from 1$10 to $40 . Any ideas?

replce a high cealing light bulb

What type of bulb and is this a recessed luminaire or other type of lumiaire??

The answer will be based on NEC ( National Electrical code ) or CEC ( Cananda Electrical code ) or ECF ( Electrique Code France )
