Replacing old BIG potlights with new small ones
The old BIG ones are about 8" across. New sleek ones are only inches wide. It if were in drywall, no problem, I could just patch the drywall. Our family room has a lovely cedar plank ceiling.
Has anybody ever seen new pot lights that have large faceplates that might be big enough to cover up the old hole??? |

try a real electrical supply house with a showroom. bring hard dimensions of existing and see if they have options. if not there and you have more than one supplier in town try another
