Replace Photocell with Toggle Switch

Hi, this may sound like a dumb question but I just bought a house but the lady whom I bought it from had security lights all around the house. She had these hooked up with a dusk til dawn sensor. I want to replace the photocell with a toggle switch, however I'm not sure what to do with the white wire. In the photocell box there is a red wire, black wire, white wire, and a ground wire (which isn't hooked up) I'm assuming the black wire is hot, the red wire is to the lights, but where do I hook the white (assuming its neutral) wire? Thanks for any help.

Replace Photocell with Toggle Switch

Your assumption of the wire colors and where they go is likely correct. That would be standard for a photocell.

Cap the white wire off. That's all. Don't cut it in case you ever do need it later on.
