repairing dual rocker switch

part: 125V dual rocker lit snap in O/F switch
for: oil radiator heater/fan

Right off noticed the heater rocker was loose (even its 'on' light flickered) in sharp contrast to the tight clicking tension on the fan (don't use) side. As is, it worked for many months ... now DOA, I think that rocker is the sole problem & believe it's repairable, but have several Qs:

1)Despite being seemingly soldered on, the 6 rear connectors must be 'plugs' I can gingerly disconnect (how else to replace), right?

2)Since the fan rocker's fine, can I either:
A)simply reverse each rocker's 3 wires to use the fan side for the heater?
B)less simply (can't figure out if I CAN separate ext lid from int casing in order to access rockers--any hints here?) switch out the good for the bad?
...if not...
C)(given access) maybe repair what's likely a detached spring on the dead rocker?

I suspect a single spring is the difference between this good heater being salvaged or scrapped...any been-there-done-that DIYer ideas?

Unplug it when you work on it and stand clear when you plug it back in.

Check Radio Shack. They seem to have a decent selection of lighted switches. Be sure the current rating is same or higher than the old one.

Question

repairing dual rocker switch

Before posting I already tried to find a replacement–only to discover the universal dual-rocker model won't fit. Considered including the odd shape/size of this switch–figured I'd get some JUST BUY A NEW ONE replies for not mentioning that fact, but hoped I'd also get answers to my questions, all I really need to know is:

CAN I SWITCH (REVERSE) THE IN, OUT & GROUND WIRES ON THE BAD SIDE WITH THE IN, OUT & GROUND ON THE WORKING SIDE?
