remodel wiring

how many of you wire a room to a circuit vs. stringing lights together and outlets together? seems like the first is logical but so is the second. especially if a person uses all compact flouresents in the lights?

All depends, generally I keep them seperate, but not in bedrooms that require AFCI's, I try and keep them together at that point.
