Relay to power a microwave

I'd like to use a relay to power an 800 watt microwave. Would this relay be sufficient?

Relay to power a microwave

Yes, it will handle the load. But why? Microwaves are not intended to be frequently powered on and off. The clock will reset every time, and I can't imagine what benefit would result from it.

We want to control access. People will swipe their access card and the system will close the dry contacts on the relay for a set period of time.

if you cant see the pdf, try accessing thru here: http://ribrelays.com/Products/Dry-Co.../RIB01BDC.html and see the datasheet
