Regular vs Journeyman Klien

I have a regular Klien Long nose. When working on something tough, like removing a old metal box (crushing it up in the wall) the long nose bend / flex when using them to remove a box or similar.

My regular Klien's D213-9 are tough as, well if you have one you know you can use it as a hammer.

Wondering if the Jouneyman series long nose might better meet my expactations for performance.

Any thoughts on the Journeyman series of Kliens?

I thought the difference was the grips. The journeymans have a 2 layer grip material.

I think the tool part is the same.

The journeyman 2000 series has alot more features such as a crimp tool and a fish tape puller or something like that. I like the journeyman series. They are more expensive though. Oops my bad im talking about the linesmans not the long nose pliers that you speak of.

Got the journeyman long nose for $28. The are as strong as my klien linemans. No comparsion to the regular klien long nose. Very strong. They are a little bigger so for some fine work you may still want the regular klei. Long nose... I needed the smaller one yesterday when I rewired a very high fixture from a 1/2inch KO in the attic. Tricky. :-). LOL. Jamie
