Recessed Lights problem

yes i tried hot wiring them and at one switch where 2 lights are controlled the lights work but at the other switch where the 6 are controlled they dont. i think i have a break in the neutral somewhere cause when i test the neutral with my voltage tester at the switch that doesnt work power comes on
