Recessed Lighting in Outside Sofit

Hello,

Ok, I have a two switch panel in our entry/living room. One is a dimmer that controls two lights on my porch and into that same dimmer is fan wiring for a fan receptacle on the porch but we have no fan installed so they are capped. Next to it there is another switch that would control a fan inside the entry/living room but we have no fan there either so it's a useless switch right now. What I want to do is place 3, 3" recessed lights in our sofit off of our porch on a seperate dimmer. I've got all the hardware I need (i.e. the lights, 50' of 12/2 Romex, dimmer switch, 3 switch electrical box etc.). I guess my question is, I want to add another switch next to the existing two switches and can I just tap in to the 'Hot Line and and run a daisy up the wall and into our crawl space to the 3 new lights? Let me know if you need any more info and I can provide pics later if you need. These switches are on a 20amp breaker.
