Recessed Lighting

Hi i justed wanted to know how hard is it to install recessed lighting or if anyone knows of a link which shows a how to.... any help is appreciated.

not hard. but asking this may point to a fact that you should be calling an electrician.

In an existing ceiling - retrofit, or an open ceiling without sheetrock?
The hard part is running the wires
Access from above? Attic?

Sometimes it's hard, even for professionals.

Sometimes it not as hard, but it's rarely easy.

Want it done right? Hire a professional.

Depends upon the can
Non IC can = 3" clearance to insulation etc
IC (in contact) rated can - can contact insulation
