Question

Recessed light experts, PLEASE review my layout and offer advice

First, I'm sorry for posting so many similar questions (I wish I could edit or delete prior posts). I have recieved some good advice here, but I'm not sure if I want low voltage, line voltage, magnetic or electronic transformers, 3" or 4", gimbal or slot trim..... ect, ect.....
Anyhow, instead of asking specifics, I think it might be better to just ask what you guys would do.
Here's a 'rough' draft of my living room layout (don't have a program, so this was the best I could do with Microsoft Paint).

It's obviously NOT to scale, but the yellow circles represent the recessed lights. The room dimensions are 19x14.5 with 8' ceilings. I'd don't want to buy the best, because I plan to move in a few years, but I do want soft/comfortable lighting, dimmers, and no glare or interference with my plasma tv.
I'm thinking of using four 5" Halos in the center for general lighting and maybe 3" or 4" around the outside for accent/wall washing. I'd also like to use two seperate dimmers for the general and accent lights.
What would you guys use???? Brand, Size, Trim??
THANKS

Here are the ligths I'm thinking of using...

I found some 5" Halos at Lowes for around $15, and for the 3" cans I'm thinking:
Halo 3" H36RTAT line voltage

with Halo 3009's Gimbals for the wall washing / accent lighting

and Halo 3001's Slot Aperatures in front of the TV

What do you think?????? My ceiling is off white, what color trims should I use?

1) Lose the cans by the TV.

2) Move the four 5" cans to directly above the sofas, 2 each.

3) Use LV with 4" gimbals about 16" to 20" off the wall for the art/accent lighting. Use them sparingly, not closer together than 3'.

Two switches/dimmers is perfect.

I'm not a pro or anything, just a somewhat smart dude, and I agree with 220/221 (whatever it takes ), except that I don't see the usefulness of running a LV transformer, when the required bulbs would generally be readily available at 120V. (But maybe I'm missing something here???)

"just a somewhat smart dude"....haha... and the 220/221 reference, I totally missed the joke the first time.

Well like I said, that picture is terrible for scale, because those can are actually over the sofa now (maybe a couple inches behind it).

So, you guys think the gimbals are the best trim for the wall washing/accent areas? I also considered the slot aperature like this, but I'm still not clear on how these are used???????

Thanks
