Recessed Can Lights in Kitchen Remodel

We are remodeling our kitchen and we would like to add can lights. I need a little help trying to determine how many we need for this space.

The island in the middle will have pendant lighting, as will the the sink.

We will be using 6" can lights. This is the layout design of the kitchen.

This is where I would like to put the can lights to light the countertops.

Will this be enough light for the room, or do you think we should add more can lights?
