Receptacle question

OK...I have a receptacle. It is hooked to a switch. The box has a red/black/white line coming in...and 2 black/white combos coming in..so it appears three power lines. I for the life of me cannot figure out how to hook it up. I broke the little tab so there is no backfeed but for some reason I have no power at all......just on one part of the loop.

Receptacle question

Did you break the tab on both sides of the receptacle or just one?

All the blacks together and pigtail to top brass screw, whites together and pigtail to silver screw, red to bottom brass screw.

Receptacle question

It doesn't matter which of the two silver screws you connect to. They are both the connected together anyway.
