Receptacle distance from pool

From my understanding standard receptacles needed to be 10 feet from a pool and receptacles with a GFCI feed from the main panel could be 5' from the pool.

Anyone have the code book handy?.

I also heard that the US was changing the 5' rule to 6'.....? Don't know for sure tho,.

Receptacle distance from pool

2008 NEC requires at least one GFCI receptacle no closer that 6' and no further than 20' from the inside edge of the pool.
