Really big rocker switch.

I have a switch for my kitchen lights. It's a white rocker switch, but the rocker is the size of the complete wall plate minus maybe 1/8" around for a white "box" that the rocker sits in. The rocker piece has two plastic pins that go into the actual mechanism and throw the switch. No one I've shown the pieces to has any idea what it is or who may have it. My wife absolutely must have it as she's gotten used to hitting it with her elbow on the way to the sink. Any help? Please!

Sounds like we're talking about a coverplate that goes over a regular switch device. Perhaps this is some sort of product designed for disabled/elderly folks? From the description, I don't think we're talking about an actual switch device, just some sort of cover for it.
