Re-Use wiring?


just remeber that in addition to grounding your receptacle the box also needs to be grounded

I am going to pigtail off the ground wire, one leg to the receptacle and one leg to the screw in the box.

All done and working fine. I used the extender ring because the #10 is stiff and it made it easier to tuck the wires. The breaker is in but no pics on that.. LOL


Here is a pictorial (and yes I wrap the contacts with a strip of electrical tape)

That looks an awful lot like #12 wire, are you certain that is #10?

The two pigtails on the ground are #12 and it was thinner then the original ground, neutral and hot plus it was a 30 map circuit so I assume it is #10
