Quiet decora light switches??

Our new house has the large decora style light switches and plug ins. They have quite a loud "click" when turned on, especially noticeable when I'm sleeping and the teenagers come home and stab every switch on the 4 gang several times before finding the right one. Does anyone make a quieter one??

Quieter switch or Quieter teenager?

I just could not help it.

Same response to the posters who want a way to make the hot water run out because their teenagers take too long showers.

Learn how to raise kids.

Just turn on all of the lights before you go to bed? :)

Label the switches.

I've had pretty good luck with Leviton. All decora type switches I've ever seen had some 'click' to them. Not as quiet as toggles.

I want to change my response. It's time to start beating your kids.

Any decora style switch is somewhat quiet, if you lightly depress, instead of slapping the switch with all your might.
