Quick small appliance circuit question


When wiring up a kitchens small appliance outlets are there requirements or even reccomendations on the order of the outlet? By this I mean can 1 wall be 1 circuit and the other wall be the second or should it be wired every other outlet c1, c2, c1, c2, ect. down the line?

Quick small appliance circuit question


AS long as you have a minimum of 2 circuits for the counter top areas, it really doesn't matter how you configure the outlets. It can be good practice to alternate the circuits among the outlets so if you happen to overload one of them, it is only a matter of moving an appliance to an adjacent receptacle to relieve the overload.
