Quick electrical question - changing light switch.

I'm wishing to replace an old dimmer switch (DS) with a single pole switch (SPS). I want to make sure the following is correct. See the attached picture for reference. I'm planning to disconnect the DS's two black wires inserting the SPS and reconnect the two black wires to the SPS. Then connect one of the three copper wires to the SPS (green). Does it matter which of the three coppers I connect to? or any other advice? Thx.
