QO panel no tandems?

I decided to go the proper route and picked up a QO 8 pos \ 16 circuit panel tonight as well as some 6-3 copper. Will throw the 40A 2 pole breaker in that I have and if it ever trips just swap it for a 50A 2 pole, but I have a feeling that will never happen.

I figure, at least this way it's to code as well as gives me a lot more room to work in. The box was getting cramped as it was, at least in my opinion.

I bet a lot of guys out there work in far more cramped boxes then this one but I'm by no means a pro.

Problem solved. For now.

I even got my extra breaker back on the bottom right for if I ever install a 240V A\C in our kitchen. This is what the lone red wire is for on the right side.

Do you see the box above the photo that says to click it to inlarge?
Or, are you doing this on your phone?

I am embarrassed/ashamed to disclose.....so my story is that my dog hit a wrong key on my computer.
