Pulll Sting Light - Box Fill

Does a pull string light mounted to an octogon j-box count any towards box fill?

I've got 2 12awg coming in, 2 12awg going out, 1 for grounds and no clamps. Trying to determine if the light mounted counts as 2 for a device strap.

If it does I need a 2 1/8" deep box, if not I can use the 1 1/2" deep.

I don't count it. It's not the same as a device on a yoke, as it doesn't sit inside the box.

Pulll Sting Light - Box Fill

Is this two 12-2 in and two 12-2 out plus the fixture or is it 12-2 in and 12-2 out?
