(I'm 99% sure this is the model I have)
That would be the wrong model thermostat to have with a heat pump with aux electric heat. Pull it off its back plate and double check if that is the model number.

Please post the model number of your outdoor unit.

From your breaker description on the air handler, you have 15 KW of electric strip heat. Its possible that you have a short in your low voltage wiring that is causing 5 KW of the strip heat to be on almost all the time.

You are in fact, correct. When I removed the thermostat last night I did not recognize the model number from the other numbers and it
does not actually use the word "Model:" in front of the number.

I do have 1F95-1277

My bills have been significantly higher this Dec/Jan than last year. It's been pretty cold in the north east. Don't know how much that could affect your bill, but the last 2 years were pretty mild compared to this year.

Using the link frenchelectrican provided and the model numbers for my equipment, can someone suggest the correct settings so I can verify them in the thermostat?

Thanks
