proximity of copper h2o pipe to MC cable

i plan to run some MC cable vertically within an inch or so to the cold water supply pipe going to my bathroom vanity. i was wondering if this is OK or there must be more clearance between the two, for some reason.

thanks

No clearance required, but it's better to not let them touch if you can.

i don't know if it is code but in commercial, mc cable is often attached to copper or iron pipes with tyraps

Does that make it right? Are those copper or iron pipes listed as suitable for support of electrical wiring methods?
