Proper way to terminate end of old k-n-t run I need to leave live
I've got a circuit that is old k-n-t through my entire plastered first floor ceiling. It ends in my kitchen where I have torn out my ceiling to replace it and all the lights in it. Since I am powering my new lights with a new circuit I obviously will not need to use the old stuff that is up there. Here is my question:
What is the proper way to seal up the k-n-t wire ends?
I can't tear all of it out because it disappears above the ceiling into the rest of the first floor. I'd have to rip all my ceilings out which I am not wanting to do.
Thanks in advance,
