Proper size of generator inlet box and breaker

Hello. I'm going to run a portable generator somewhere around the 8.5k - 10k size. I plan to use a Square D Interlock kit to back feed the panel legally and safely. What is an appropriate size of inlet box to get and what is the appropriate size of feed breaker to get for the generator sizing above?

Also, if you recommend a size and can tell me the range it would be best for (for example a generator up to 15k should I go that route) I'd appreciate it!

It seems all the inlet boxes I see are 30AMP boxes ... Do they sell larger, should I need it?

ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE APPRECIATED!

They sell 50 amp inlet boxes. I am not sure if they get any larger. For a 15KW generator use a transfer switch.

Why a transfer switch?

Because I have no other idea after 50 amp.

I see. My original question was what is the appropriate size for an 8.5k to 10k generator? I may be completley fine with a 30AMP. Looking for thoughts around proper sizing and the correct sizing of the backfed breaker?

Watts / Volts = Amps
10K / 240 = 41.67

30 would probably be fine, but here is a 50 amp inlet:

These install right on you panel, no extra box needed:

Use whatever the largest size receptacle is on the generator you get. 20, 30 or 50.
