Problems with Kichler under-cabinet lighting

Hello. My kitchen has Kichler under-cabinet lighting, installed by the builder - strings of 12v 10w xenon festoon lamps. It has never worked well in the four years since the house was built: the lamps frequently lose contact with the wire and need to be jostled to light. I understand this is not an unknown problem with this product.

There's nothing obviously wrong with the installation: wires are nestled and lamps are clicked securely in the tracks - but the electrical contact remains flaky. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to improve the situation - hopefully, short of ripping it all out and replacing with Seagull hardware. Perhaps Kichler lamps have improved from four years ago, or there are third-party products that work better with the Kichler wire/track? Any ideas?

These have always been a problem. Many times a take out the old trac and replace it with ambiance lighting.
Ambiance is 12 volt and the ambiance small lights can be place anywhere on the new trac.
You just have to make sure you do not exceed the existing low voltage transformer.

Thanks. I would expect to use the same number of lamps - and at least I already have the bulbs. To make sure I understand, the existing cable will be usable with the Ambiance lamps but the track will not?
