Possible to remove a button on/off?

Dealing with small helmet light, basically a flashlight. Is it possible to remove the button that turns it on and off and cycles through the different light modes? Can I hardwire it to a switch for simply on/off?

If you can find a switch to fit your light or can make one work you just simply need a regular on/off switch (example: instead of an on/on/on/off switch you need an on/off). Check with Grainger.com or an electrical supply house.

Sounds like one of the NiteRider lights. If that's the case then you have to bypass the circuit in the light. Have you taken it apart yet to see what's inside?
