Please help me understand something

I am trying to understand how to wire a certain situation. I have found how to wire 1 light coming from the service line and into the switch (white connected to light, black spliced into switch with white returning to light marked as hot) but I would have 2 lights before the switch. How do you wire that appropriately?

A properly wired switch loop has the re-marked white as the hot to the switch. The black is the switch controlled power back to the switch.

Down on white, back on black.

Jim, thanks for the info - I have attached a picture of what I am looking at doing (found in another forum). Would this be acceptable?
